Join Increasing Number of Companies Becoming a workplace charging challenge partner
Since January 2013, the Challenge has already made a huge headway towards its total goal of reaching 500 organizations offering workplace charging to their employees. In addition to the new milestone, the Workplace Charging Challenge released the first Workplace Charging Challenge Progress Update.
Based on a survey of partners, the Update shows that Partners are providing access to chargers to more than 600,000 employees at more than 300 worksites across the country. These stations are providing more than 6.7 million kWh, which have already saved 800,000 gallons of gasoline and prevented more than 5.5 million pounds of greenhouse gas emissions annually. This is the same as removing 1,500 cars from U.S. roads!
